Bad News Is Good News

Job growth slowed in September and the market rallied.

PRE-OPEN MARKET COMMENTS MONDAY - I got the concept right, but the direction wrong. Based on ADP and weekly initial jobless claims I thought we would see nice job gains and the market would drop on the news because it would increase the odds for a December rate hike (Good news is bad news). The key lesson is, "Don't try to make sense of the fundamentals."
