Japan Trade Deal Fuels Market Rally

A trade deal between the US and Japan was announced last night.

PRE-OPEN MARKET COMMENTS WEDNESDAY - The tariff deadline is approaching and we are likely to see more trade deals. Japan said that they would not be pressured into making a bad trade deal just because of a deadline and that they were going to wait for the right terms. Their Prime Minister feels they got a good deal stating that this is "the lowest rate ever applied among countries that have a trade surplus with the U.S."
